Solo Studio Quickstart

1 - Log in to your computer

Log in to your computer with your ÅA username and password.

The computer screen is also a touch screen, in case you want to write or draw by hand, for example.

2 - Lighting

Turn on the lights with the button behind both lights.

3 - Camera and prompter

The camera is located behind the teleprompter above the computer screen. For best results, adjust the height of the table so that the camera is at eye level when recording.

Open the Elgato Camera Hub program to:

  • crop the camera image
  • adjust the background (e.g. blur or add a background image)
  • enter your script in the prompter

4 - Microphones

The microphones are on automatically. Bring a microphone close to your face (20cm away).

The camera hides the microphone from view.

5 - Record | Record

  1. Open the program you are going to use for recording (e.g. Camtasia or Clipchamp).
  2. Check that the camera and microphone settings are correct:
    • The camera should be Elgato Virtual Camera
    • The microphone should be NVIDIA Broadcast
